The Sojourner Whole Earth Provisions is a dream coming true! Michelle Jenkins and Jennifer Thielen, two stay at home moms with a passion for Natural Mothering, progressive ideologies and a love of Mother Earth began dreaming up The Sojourner in 2007. With enormous help and support from all our friends at the UUCG, Natural Mama's Group, ENCP, Carolina Greenworks, Home and Office Werks, Absolute Studio and the Hypnotic Belly Dance Troupe and our wonderful families, we can happily announce that : Find us at 414 S. Evans Street in Greenville, North Carolina. Mission Statement: Plato said, "Life is but a Sojourn, enjoy the best of it." The Sojourner will be an oasis along life's journey with a mission to bring together the progressive people of Greenville, North Carolina--body, mind and spirit. We will serve this market by offering educational seminars, and unique, eco-friendly merchandise within an enchanting, inclusive atmosphere so that the whole family may be equipped to walk the path less-traveled. To help equip our eco-minded families we carry bulk herbs, reusable lunch containers, cloth diapers, natural soaps and diaper creams, baby wraps and slings, as well as mama cloth. We also feature toys and books with positive messages and environmental impacts. We have a child's play space within the store to make the shopping experience more fun for everyone.
