I took my then almost-12 year old daughter to see Kathy last summer (2008). She received BIT, and we are thrilled with the results. My daughter's reading comprehension has greatly improved. Her ability to grasp math concepts has improved -- but more importantly, she is willing to ask for and receive help with things she doesn't grasp quickly. Emotionally, she is much more moderate. She doesn't get frustrated with people as easily, including herself, and conflicts with her younger sister have only twice in all these months come anywhere near the intensity they used to have regularly. She has a new self-awareness and communicates her needs verbally. All this at an age when mood swings usually intensify! BIT is a gift at any age, but I am so grateful she got BIT before transitioning to middle school.
As for my daughter's reaction to BIT, she was thrilled with being suddenly able to hula-hoop -- she never could before. And after only a few hours of BIT, for the first time in her life, she could doggy-paddle all the way across the pool -- even into the deep end, without any flotation device or holding onto the wall. But she acknowledges other benefits from BIT, too. Periodically she will comment on things both in school and at home that are easier for her since she had BIT.
We were so impressed with Kathy Liebman. She is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and explains things in a way that both children and adults can understand. She is dedicated to this work of giving people fuller access to their own capacities, and she obviously cares very much for her clients. Kathy has an incredible intuitive touch and is extremely knowledgeable. As a mom, the Brain Integration helped me become more organized, efficient and I seem to multi-task - the house, kids and part time job. My husband also was integrated and his confidence soared, which was seen in an increase in sales at his job. Most importantly, my daughter was 3 1/2 with a developmental delay...when she was integrated the change was so amazing that all of her IEP goals were completely rewritten.

Kathy has enabled my son to have access to areas of his life - intellectually, socially & emotionally - that he never would have had acces to without our time with her.
