Hi!
I offer experienced loving childcare in my home. I will consider any shift but prefer daytime hours. I currently care for two little kiddos that are right around 2 years old. I am CPR and First Aid Certified and have background checks. I have been watching children in my home for the last year and absolutely love it. Before I started doing this in my home I worked in the Infant room at a daycare for 2 1/2 years. While I worked in daycare I also filled in in pretty much every classroom so I have expecience with all ages. I am also a full time student online through Sullivan University for Early Childhood Education. I have already completed my first year so I have gained a lot of knowledge so far.
I do have a daily routine with the kids. I try to keep it flexible but adhere to the basic principles of it. One of the things that I like most about home childcare is the fact that I can be much more flexible and the kids have a whole lot more one on one time. My home is a smoke and pet free home. I have turned the dining room into the kids space (although they are allowed all over my house) where they have toys and books to play with. Also I am using an extra bedroom as their nap room so they have a quiet place to be while they are sleeping. We have just started an early preshool curriculum that introduces the kids to shapes, colors, numbers and letters. Call me with any questions you have and I look forward to speaking with you!
