If you’re looking for more than just a babysitter, look no further! I’m a 41 year old fun, loving, energetic mom of 7 year old b/g twins. My home is a place where children are encouraged to love, learn, laugh, respect, and have a lot of fun.
I strongly believe in quality over quantity so I never care for more than two (perm. full or part time) kids at a time.
We have outside play time most mornings and or afternoons (weather permitting). I have two playgrounds, T-Ball sets, soccer balls, and scooters.
Your child will enjoy various arts and crafts activities including painting, drawing, and jewelry making. I have several toys to encourage imaginative play like dollhouses, play kitchen, wood blocks, and building sets. I have a wide variety of other toys so rest assure that no matter what your son or daughter enjoys playing with he/she will have a lot of fun.
Some of our favorite toys include tool sets, cars/trucks, rescue hero’s, Lego’s, Play Doh sets with lots of fun accessories, puzzles, dolls with baby carriers, dress up clothes, Polly Pockets, and Barbie’s to name a few. I also have a lot of different games like Chutes and Ladder, Candy Land, Hullabaloo, Deluxe Marble Race game, Twister, and a bowling set.
I have an informal “school time” with the children where we practice our ABC’s, 123’s, colors, shapes, etc depending on age. I love reading and do an interactive story time daily. The children are offered computer time were they can play and learn independently with educational programs like Starfall, Reader Rabbit Toddler and Preschool and Jump Start Advance Toddler and Preschool.

I offer quality care and I am committed to nurturing young minds and spirits. I have purposefully chosen to babysit because I love children and thoroughly enjoy what I do.

Joelle and her children have been such a gift to my almost two year old daughter. My daughter has been coming to them part time for four months and she begs to see them when she is at home. She always comes home tired from playing and learning, well fed by the wholesome snacks and lunches Joelle provides, and excited to demonstrate what she has learned. Joelle's children are a testament to her great childcare. They are extremely well mannered, independent, and well rounded. Our daughter is following their examples, and we have been so pleased to know she is in good hands and is truly loved by Joelle and her family.
Joelle has been babysitting my son Aaron for several months now, and he and I both could not be happier!! Joelle is fun, thoughtful, loving and has a strong connection with children. Aaron can't wait to go to her house and I have to drag him away. I have three children and have had many babysitters over the years, but Joelle is truly one-of-a-kind and we feel blessed to have her in our lives.
I can't say enough good things about Joelle and the child care that she provides. Joelle not only takes care of a child's physical needs, but she supports each one emotionally, psychologically and mentally and provides truly individualized, child-specific care. She loves children and they love her. I don't think you could find a more dedicated caregiver. With Joelle, children not only learn about ABCs, but about values, social skills, manners, repsect and kindness.
Joelle is an amazing mom and caretaker. She has watched my children and we get together with them as friends for play time each week. Joelle is very conscientious about healthy eating and teaching good eating choices (inspiring to me). She is a patient mom who looks for ways to nurture, develop and encourage children and their good behavior vs. more traditional "discipline" and occupying them. Joelle love to find creative and out of the box ways for children to learn through activities and projects. She loves kids and connects with them easily.
Extraodinaire is an understatement! Joelle is beyond that. She helped me out with my three monsters...9, 4, and 1 when I was in a pinch. I am a very overprotective mother and am not one to just leave my kids with anyone. Joelle welcomed my children, who each found something in her home that they personally love...even the 9 year old! After sitting with her and talking for 2 minutes, I knew my kiddos would be fine in her care. I look forward to having her care for my children again in the future!
