Come learn basic signs for the routines of the day, family members, animals, and feelings using music, creative movement, bubbles, and puppets. These classes and workshops are great for ages children 3 months to 8 years and give lots of tips for making signing fun and beneficial for your family!
My daughter and I learned so much from Tamera!!! She is amazing. Babies should learn sign, it sure helps when they can't speak the words. My daughter is now 2 yrs old and still signs, even though she can speak some. Little did we know but she had really bad ear infections when she was little and had to have tubes placed. Signing was a God send because she couldn't really hear us, but we could comunicate through sign. I am so thankful for Tamera to give me the confidence to learn sign to teach my daughter. Tamera you ROCK!!!!!
My son and I, Scott took classes from Tamara Brody, A Show of Hands Sign Language for 2 years. Scott has a speech disorder called Apraxia and this helped us as a tool to communicate. I beleive taking Tamara's classes also stimulated Scott's progress in the area of speach. Tamara works very well with children of all ages and the different needs of her students. She communicates well with parents. She is very knowledgable in ASL. We feel that Tamara's classes were an important stepping stone in Scott's speech developemnt and we are thankful and happy to have been able to participate in Tamara's wonderful programs! We've been taking classes from Tamara for over 4 years and love every minute! We began signing to both our daughters from birth and attending classes with them. It's a great, fun way to spend time together as a family. We would highly recommend you sign up for a class and come join the fun!
Tamara Brody is a true professional. Her class is developmentally geared for young children with songs, books, puppets, and lots of movement. Both my husband and I have enjoyed going to Sign class. My little son has loved coming from day one. I am excited to start communicating with him well before he can speak. I would highly recommend this class to anyone. I have had a great time getting to know the other mommies and meeting with them outside of class. :)
Tamara makes the class fun for the kids and parents too!
We started this class when my son was 6 months old & he is now 17 months & signing so much! It has really helped my son with language & easing his frustration by being able to use his signs to communicate. We love it!
