Hi. My 2nd child is due 10/31 and due to day care costs, gas costs, etc - it seems to make more sense for me to stay home. It scares me not to work, scares me to death...But I think it'll be best for both kids, and working for what little I'll have left and having someone else raise my baby doesn't make a lot of sense either.. (my daughter didn't go to daycare until almost 3 yrs old,we worked opposite shifts, but that will not work anymore my husband could be called into work at anytime)Anyway, I'd like to still bring in a little money from home, since not working will make it pretty tight.. Does anyone know of a legit work from home business? Something to do from home? I'm not interested in selling shaklee, and all those other products.. Just something I can do from home without having to be a salesperson. Help, do you know of anything? Also share your experiences if you went from being a working mom to stay at home. THANKS

What can I do next?

A.,
I don't really have suggestions for working from home except to maybe watch a few other kids when things settle down. The one thing I found about staying at home was I needed a schedule. If I didn't plan something to do, nothing would get done, including making dinner.
Good luck!

I have found a great business with The Mom Team. We are a group of women from across North America who have teamed up to work from home. We don't do any selling or have inventory. I love this business. Take a look at my website to find our more info on our team and business. www.GreatMommyBiz.com I look forward to helping you achieve your goals.

I agree that a schedule is necessary. Time can really get lost when you are just hanging out. I have a few friends that do medical transcription from home and love it. I also second watching another child-maybe a family members or a friends child a few days a week. Good luck to you!
