Work from Home Jobs? Where to Start?

I am a stay at home mom who would love a work from home job to make some extra money. Nothing important - stuffing envelopes would suffice! I just want a few extra dollars to pay off some debt. When I search the internet, it's hard to weed through all the 'real' opportunities from the scams. Does anyone have a work from home job they love?

What can I do next?

I spent many years looking for something legit that was worth my time. I did find a company I love for many different reasons that were important to me...ethical, mission to help less fortunate, could do from home around my family parttime or full time. We have informational meetings across the country every Tuesday evening. If you would like to attend, let me know and I can get the info to you and introduce you to someone that would be there to meet you.
Blessings and good luck finding something!

Good Luck, I have tried this myself, since my career is on hold. You should not have to pay anyone to get work on line. There are so many scams out there. I have not found one thing except surverys and they take so many from them to do and then you have to qualify for them to earn points and it takes like a 1000 points to earn 50 dollars and each survey is only worth like 30-40 points and they can take 30-40 minutes very time consuming. If i come across anything i will let you know. Good Luck.

I can share something I found and am doing. It is not a "get rich scam", you will NOT make a fortune overnight but the long-term potential to do very well for yourself is definately there.

If interested, go to www.workathomeunited.com/madden and I will be in contact soon. Then, once you have the information, you can decide for yourself.

It is asked all the time on this site. Just BEWARE. There are so many people preying on moms like you.

Think outside the box, get creative and steer clear of those "opportunities" that get you rich quick.

There is no such thing as the stuffing envelopes at home. Scam.

I do work from home. I was very leery too so I did a lot of research before I got involved. Pick a company and google away. Check with the better business bureau too.

I'll be honest with you. After I had my second I was so desperate to find a stay at home job, I looked everywhere. Many of them are scams. You do no need to pay money to begin to work for someone. I found my job by word of mouth. If you know of any work at home people, inquire with them. You had mentioned that you were cool with stuffing envelopes. Can you think of a business that you could propose this idea to. Many times, it just getting your foot in the door that can lead to more opportunities. Good luck! I completely feel your pain!

Darn it! I had the BEST answer written up for you and accidentally hit the "back" button on my browser! I'll never get it written so well again! I'll make it short and sweet this time.

Why settle for stuffing envelopes when you can actually be inspired and energized by a part-time, work from home job? That's what I was thinking when I signed up as a Stylist with Stella & Dot and I haven't looked back since! I am loving it. What's there to love? Well, I set my own part-time schedule, I enjoy all of the "work" I put into it, the company culture is fantastic, the colleagues and clients wonderful to spend time with, the jewelry is actually fabulous, and last but least, the pay is high! You earn 25-20% on all your sales plus have the opportunity to earn more through coaching commissions. Stella & Dot has been featured in countless magazines, including In Style (83 times in 3 years!). The marketing and branding of the company is so smart, too. It's been recognized by Inc. Magazine and has acquired the same investment firm that invested in Apple (apparently this is a really big deal). Since I messed up my last answer, I'm just gonna get to the links and let you snoop around a little. Maybe this is something that would work for you, too? Get back to me with any questions--I'm happy to help. If you decide to go for it, I'd love to have you on my team! If you're still on the fence, I'd be happy to hook you up with other Stylists who can vouch for their own positive experiences. Let me know! And enjoy the links!

Ok, so before I accidentally delete this again, good luck! You'll find something perfect for you! Don't settle for something boring! You can have both "enjoyable" and "bill paying"!

love K.
