I am trying to plan a trip to Wisconsin Dells for a few days in a month or 2 from now. It will be my husband and I and our 1 year old son. Hopefully my son will be walking by then. He is very close! So just wondering if anyone has any recommendations of a resort with an indoor water park (since it will still be cold!) that would be fun for a 1 year old. If they have extra activities for a toddler would be a plus.

We absolutely love the Wilderness! They have at least 3 indoor parks and 4 outdoor ones. Last time we went my stepdaugher was 6 and she had a blast. We are planning to go again with both children, my son just turned one 2 weeks ago.

We took our 1 year old to the kalahari--he had a blast!! So much to do and in decmber they opened a big indoor amusement park. I heard the wilderness is good and mt olympus has awesome indoor pools. I just reccomend bringing an umbrella stroller--these hotels are huge and a lot of walking from your room to a restaraunt. Have fun
The Kalahari Resort is a great place. They have a huge indoor waterpark with a very large children's area. They even have a restaurant, sweet shop, movie theater and other things so you don't even have to leave. It is a little pricey though, if you want something less expensive, The Polynesian resort also has an indoor waterpark with children's area but not as big as The Kalahari.
I have been to Kalahari, Wilderness and Raintree- the smallest is the Raintree and it has everything you would need for a small child. It's a lot less than the Wilderness and Kalahari but has everything you would need for now. As he gets older, I would suggest going to either one of the others, but for now, if you want to save some money, go to the Raintree. It's right by Noah's ark waterpark. It's closer to the "strip" area and you could do your downtown dells stuff with a lot less of a trip in the car. Good luck!
