Baraboo Hills Campground, Fox Hill Park, Merry Macs and the KOA campground - those are the 4 we have looked into. Anyone ever stayed at any of these with children? Good? bad? We will take any suggestions! We have never been and are clueless as to what is the best place.

We stayed at Jellystone last year in the Dells and had a blast. Our son was 5 and they had a lot of activities and a small pool and water park. We had such a good time we're trying another jellystone park in caledonia, wi. Devils lake is beautiful also but may be booked for the weekends this late. I think we stayed at Baraboo hills and it was adequate.

Great Wolf Lodge! Not a campground, but an awesome place to take kids!

I second the vote for Devil's Lake State Park. It is gorgeous, fun for kids, great beaches, and close to the dells without being right in the craziness. I have been to many places and this is seriously one of the most beautiful places I have been.

I've not been to any of those, but I did camp with my husband at Devil's Lake (about 20 min away from the Dells) and it seemed like a great place to go with kids. Electricity, pretty clean & ample bathrooms & showers, canoe rental, a private lake with a big beach and very gradual decline, nearby horseback riding, a playground, hiking trails...it was great!
