I'm computer shopping too! I have been on amazon to compare wireless printers--it really helps to see what printer rates how many stars--hope this helps
Hi Moms,
I'm in the market for a new printer and wondered if you can recommend one. We are a Mac family if that matters. Wireless would be nice. Stores just try to sell me what they carry, so I'd love your first-hand knowledge and recommendations for a good, all around printer/copier/possibly scanner that's reliable, good quality and hopefully not too pricey. Thanks!

We have Epson Workforce 40. No complaints after 4 months. It's wireless and works with Mac and PC's in various places around the house. Read reviews no matter which printer you purchase.

We have an Epson Stylus Photo R280 and I sincerely hate it! It uses tons of expensive ink, and although wireless, it has a mind of it's own...if it chooses to print one copy or none or maybe 30 copies, it does exactly that. I'd go with the Kotak printer. I hear they are great and ink is cheap!

We are currently looking into the Brother HL-2170W. $70 at Staples.com which is amazing given its great reviews.
We have a wireless Epson Workforce (I think it is the 600 series)
LOVE it. I can print from anywhere in the house.
I have a Kodak all in one which is wireless. I love it! The ink replacements are much cheaper than the other brands and I've had it for about a year now. Can't believe I waited that long to go wireless. Oh, and it was about $100 to buy.
I have an HP all in one. It is a printer/fax/scanner/copier and it has picture printing capabilities straight from the sd cards.
It was $250ish 5 years ago. This is the best printer I have ever used, worth every penny. It has never had any problems. It is wireless so all five of our computers can print from it from anywhere in the house.
It also takes construction paper, heavy duty card stock, 11x14 inch legal size, envelopes, everything.
