So I'm kinda new at this being as my son was only an infant last winter. But I'm looking for some ideas as on things to do or places to go with him so that we don't get "cabin fever". We have a zoo membersip and practilly live there, we've trolled the MOA and love the Edin Prairie Center (tots area), but I'm starting to run out of things to do and the nice weather is only just begining to turn cold.

My other question is does anyone know of any local coffee shops or resturants that are kid friendly (kinda like that show surviving motherhood) where the moms can sit around and chat while the tots can play?

Any suggestion or ideas are happily accepted....Thanx so much ladies.

What can I do next?

Have you considered signing up for some classes - music, swimming - through your local community center for school district? They are not too expensive. Also have you tried ECFE through your school district?

M.,
Most of the Caribou coffees have toys for little ones and a nice sitting area or comfy chairs so you can sit and relax. I go there once a week with my daughter to get out of the house.
