Kirby Epic Yarn is super cute, clean/innocent images, challenging game... not educational though, but enough levels to keep them busy for a long time.
Hi mamas (and papas)!
We just get a Wii system and I need some help. I have two girls, 5 in Aug and 4 in Sept, and would like some recommendations on games they would like. I would also be interested in finding learning games as they are going into preschool and Kindergarten this fall. We have Mario Kart, but the my youngest gets bored with it easily and the oldest is getting frustrated with it but won't let me help her.
Thanks in advance for all your help!
J.
Thank you so much everyone. We are actually asking for the Wii fit for the girls bdays. I wish our library had the games, but we are going to check out the local video store also 8-)
Please keep the suggestions coming!

We have a Dora Wii game (not sure what it's called) that my 4-yr old girl likes. Not exactly educational, but she enjoys it.
She also loves the bowling, and the sword-fighting game on the Wii Sports Resort.
We just got the Reader Rabbit Kindergarten for my going-to-kindergarten son... he likes it, but a couple of the games require pretty fine motor skills to point to exactly where you are suppose to! I would still recommend it though.
I think the ones we have have been named below.
Though...we just bought the XBOX 360 Kinect...that is awesome. It's like magic:-) And Kinectimals is super fun for kids. (just mentioning in case that was of interest to anyone!).
Back to the Wii, we also have Wii Party (or something) and Wipeout. Wipeout is fun for the kids, but I'd only give it a 2-3 star. Not very well made. But the kids love it.
Just Dance, for sure! Fun to dance, exercise, sing, etc. It's a game for the whole family (my 68 yo dad playing against my 5 yo niece... priceless).
My Grandson is 6 and he loves the reader rabbit
Wii. They are very educational with lots of fun
And entertainment!
My kids 7 & 5 love Wii party, Carnival Games and Wii resort. They also spent a long time playing Mario Kart and Boomblox.
My 7 year old like Mario Kart, Wii Fit Plus & Wii Resort. My 4 year old likes Wii Fit Plus & Wii Resort.
World of Zoo - super cute! You get to design animals and then take care of them. When you keep your animals clean and happy, it unlocks more animal types.
You might also check with your library to see if they carry any Wii games. I know that the Santa Clara County Library system does. That would let you check some out and have your daughters play with them--and then buy the ones they (and you) really like.
My boys are 7 and 3 and one of their favorite Wii games is Just Dance for kids! They also like Outdoor Adventure (too difficult for 3 y/o, but he tries!) and my 7 y/o loves the Wii Fit.
Sorry if these are repeats:
The princess and the frog
Just Dance for kids
Thats all i can think of right now.
I have a 6 year old and she loves to play Mario Party 8 (I also love this game), Jumpstart and she really enjoys doing the wii fit games and it helps to keep her active especially in the colder months.
