Hello Mommies,
Can anyone tell me if they know of any stores in the Warren area that accept the new EBT card for WIC? I went to Kroger on Dequindre/11 mile and they say they will not accept until August 11, 2008. I applied for WIC in Dearborn because it was close to my job at the time. So, they were only able to give me stores that accepted it in that area (wayne county) I called toll free number for WIC but they were not much help.

My sister is on it also.But I do know that alot of stores don't except it at this time because they have to have it programed in their credit card machine.She went to 1 store and they werent going to have it up and ready until after August.You'll have to contact an office in Warren probably.Or just call the stores in the area.
call the local wic office - hey will know and are normally very friendly :)
There is a grocery store on Ryan Road- just south of 9 mile that takes WIC- Value Center- I also believe that Walmart does as well
