Hello, I also had Dr. Cook for my doctor. He delivered all 3 of my kids (within 5 years!) I loved him. He has an ultrasound in each of his rooms and loved to whip it out just to peek. I loved seening my babies each time I went just for a check up! He's also a high risk doctor so if anything came up he would know what to do. My third child was breech and I was worried about having to have a c-section. He was able to push with his thumbs on her bottom and turn her all the way around! I was amazed, he is really great.

My ob is Dr Hull Cook in Bellingham WA. He is an EXCELLENT doctor! I had him for two of my pregnancies and was extremely happy. I know a lot of people who have used him and they all have bee very pleased with him.

Hi N., there are some wonderful midwives in Bellingham. If you haven't used a midwife before, you're in for a lovely surprise. Really personal attention and great care. Look in the Yellow Pages and check them out.

Hey N.,
I love my OB Douglas Madsen. I am also preggo with my third (and last) and we basically stayed here in B'ham instead of moving out of state unitl after I have this one because I love him sooo much. He has a great bedside manner, is down to earth and very funny. The only thing neg about his office is that it is hard to ever get a real person on the phone so you have to leave messages, and I think they are still closed on Mondays. Which doesn't really have anything to do with him personally, but still annoying.
A big plus is his office is right next door to the birthing center, so he is always around.
Anyways, hope this helps!!

Dr. Madsen is a great choice. Personable and he will let you be in control of your birth. He delivered my third child last august, and I thought that he did an excellent job. Good luck!

I had Dr. Doug Madsen. I loved him! He is very knowledgeable, but he is very personable as well. He communicates well and takes time to address all questions and concerns during appointments. He delivers for his own patients 80% of the time, which was important to me. He shares call with Drs. Hull Cook and Amy Tu. I have heard good things about both of them. (Actually, I think Dr. Cook is the favorite of the area, but he can be a little harder to get in to.) Good luck!
