Where to Take Stuff for Resale?

We are moving in a couple of weeks & I am going through stuff to get rid of. I don't have time to post anything on Craigslist and/or Ebay and wait for it to sell. So my question for you all is... Where's a good place to take stuff and still get a little out of it? (i.e. kids toys, adult clothing, household stuff)

I know that if I take some stuff to Once Upon A Child or Kid to Kid, I won't get much for it. But I don't just want to give all of this stuff away, either.

Any suggestions is much appreciated!!!

Thank you moms in advance for all of your help! :-)

What can I do next?

I found the best way for me personally is to donate it all to a good organization (Allen Community Outreach, Goodwill, Hope's Door Women's Shelter, etc).

You get a better tax deduction than any $$ you actually get from a resale shop. You also know it will be used and appreciated!

I send Once Upon a Child. For adult clothing, depends there are a number of great women's consignment stores. In Plano, Consigning Women, has great clothes and there are a few other places too. I don't know about men's clothing. As to household items, are you talking about furniture? If so, we have a great consignment store in Frisco on Main Street and I believe there are several in Plano too.

Good luck on your move and hope you like where you are moving.

I don't know where to take adult clothing or household stuff..but since you are close to North Dallas - I would take your childrens stuff to Once Upon a Child. There is one on the corner of Midway and Trinity Mills. In my experience, I got a lot more $ than Kid to Kid. I've had issues with K2K and it's not just the money that I got for my stuff.

I know time is precious as you're moving, but a little money for the kids things is better than nothing.
