Did you go to a resale or consignment shop? Moms2moms also have good sales get their website-- mom2mom pink list???
Hello mamas,
Ok, so I had listed a bunch of stuff that I have for sell but I think that goes against the "no spam" policy. Anyway, since it looks like I can't list it on here, does anyone have any other ideas? I have quite a few baby items (all in excellent shape, some still in original pkg) and some other household items that I would like to sell as well. I'll be moving to Texas in 3 weeks and I just don't want to haul alot of items that I will end up storing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. By the way, I already put them on craigslist but I just get a TON of spam.
Thanks in advance moms!

we have had great success selling baby equipment on craigslist.. but you have to price it right.
I sold a crib and changing table for 125 original price $400.
I sold a highchair for $25 original price 100+
so you are basically selling for 25%-33% of new price.. if it is great condition and the current model.. I had no success selling handme down baby equipment.
it might be hard right now so close to christmass. if you cant sell it maybe you can donate it to a teenage mom place..
I have sold name brand kids clothes on ebay.. they dont seem to sell on craigslist..
Hi M.,
My name is K. and I know of a Fantastic Store where you can consign your items at!
It's "The Little Rascals" 16048 - 15 Mile Rd, Fraser MI 48026 ###-###-####. Their shop is located at the corner of 15 Mile and Utica Roads.....kitty corner from MacDonalds.
Marge and Cindy own and run this wonderful little shoppe. They are also listed on the MamaSource business page.
Tell them that K. sent you. You will enjoy working with them!
Best of Luck to you and have a Merry Christmas

there isa great store in Dearborn, called Sweet Peas Baby Boutique. you can find her on facebook, too. She buys outright. the items have to be in great condition, name brand and in demand. (i.e. no swimsuits now). Have a great time in TX.
Ebay, Craigslist, Myspace, Facebook or donate it. If I were you, I'd mention it at work and have the co-workers spread the word around and post a bulletin at school. Simple as that.
You have to realize that right now with the economy and the holiday that you may not have the takers that you would normally in the summer when 'garage sale' weather is about. I still have everything from my son (now age 5). Most likely, I will donate it as I can have a bigger tax write-off than if I were to sell it. In addition, many people out there can use the clothing for their child. Granted, it's a nice thing to get the cash for it, but you still will not receive the full value and I prefer to do something that can help someone less fortunate.
(Especially as so many are loosing their homes, etc., etc.)
Currently, I am just having a very hard time separating from that part of his life. That is something both I and the hubby are trying to work on. Once done, Purple Heart or Salvation Army will be getting a call from us.
* As for Craigslist... I post on there frequently for my business. You have to make sure you list your contact info directly in the ad. Then, make sure to list it as 'Anonymous'. This means it will take the Reply To email address out, thus cutting down on the amount of spam email you receive.
I know you only have 3 weeks, but a Mom2Mom Sale is a great place to sell your baby stuff! Moms flock to get great deals, especially on the large items. Here's a link to a site that lists them. Maybe you can find one that still has tables available in your area.

Try this site http://www.shakealist.com Its pretty new but you are able to put feature listing for Free. If you want to sell them faster, put item on feature listing.
EBAY, it's alot of work, but you'll get rid of your stuff. You can also see if there is an EBAY store around you, they will sell your stuff for you for a fee. Also, Mom to Mom sales, it would be a time crunch though since you are moving in 3 weeks. Oh, and Once Upon a Child, however, they are kinda picky on the stuff they will buy. Try those routes, and whatever is left over just donate. That's all I got, good luck with everything.
I would take it to Once Upon A Child if you have one near you, they buy it on the spot. Check them out at www.onceuponachild.com
