I am sure this has already been asked but I can't find anything.

Where is a good place to go on the 4th? I don't want to fight too big of a crowd and I have a two year old and a husband who isn't a fan of sitting in the heat to stake out a place to watch the fireworks. I am thinking we need something with a small town feel. I've tried googling and am not having much luck getting information for what's happening near me. I am in N. FW near Saginaw, Watauga, Keller. I have heard Roanoke has a good fireworks show.

Where do you like to go?

We love the Trophy Club events. They have games and fun stuff for the kids to do and we just spread out a blanket and relax. It is a really nice, low-key show!

I think we'll head to Granbury lake this year. I love the small town! It's busy, but so worth it!

Haltom City, NRH, and Richland Hills put on a great show. It's not as big as some of the other cities and you can park out a little ways and get in and out quick. There will be a live band and a few small activities, but it will be lots of fun. There will be accompanying music on the radio channel 93.1. The location is 6351 Boulevard 26. You can also park at the Wiley G. Coliseum at 6108 Broadway. For more information, go to the Haltom City website at www.haltomcitytx.com. Have a safe and fun 4th!
