We've been using the Forsyth YMCA and love the instructors. I don't think you have to be a member, you just pay a slight amount more for the lessons.
Looking for a good place to get a 4 year old in swimming lessons in the Cumming/Dawsonville area. Any recommendations?

there is a place that does private swimming lessons on Holtzclaw Rd., let me know if you want the address since I drive by there all the time.
I highly recommend Wee Swim on 20 in Cumming. Kim Rackley is wonderful. She does infant to 6, and she has another instructor who does swim lessons also, who I have heard is very good. Two of mine are going to Wee Swim.
I had both my sons do lessons at Wee Swim in Cumming. My 1 year old did the ISR survival swimming which was amazing and my 4 year old did traditional lessons since he can already swim. I was really impressed with both of the instructors and the skills my boys learned. www.weeswimga.com
My 4 year old daughter has done private swim lessons at the location on Holtzclaw Road off exit 16 in Cumming and absolutely loved it. My daughter can be challenging (to say the least) and she (the instructor) worked miracles with her! I have tried group lessons the past 2 summers and was extremely disappointed. I highly recommend the one-on-one instruction. My daughter was swimming like a fish by the end of the week!
Wee Swim on 20, just west of downtown Cumming, is fantastic! They do swim survival as well as regular lessons. Call Kim Rackely.
