Hi Moms,
I've posted on Craig's list and sitter city. ARe there other sources that are free that I can post a "nanny needed" advertisement? I really don't want to go through an agency.
Thanks much!

Have you asked people in your area? Neighbors, other moms at the park, people at church, parents of children in classes with your son if you do any, etc? I found our 2 childcare providers through friends and neighbors whom I never expected to have contacts and it has worked out GREAT!

I am not trying to pry but what exactly do you do from your home i am looking to work at home with a business that does not cost that much to start up.
You can also join northside parent's network (I think that it is NPNparent.org, but I am not sure). It is $40 a year and has many resources. My friend has also had success posting flyers at colleges with Child Care programs.
ilovemynanny.com is a free site. I used the several that you pay for to get nanny contact info, but it still ended up being way cheaper than an agency. I've had good luck with greataupair.com and enannysource. 4nannies.com is good too, but very expensive I think.
Good luck!
