Some Large Churches with Fellowship halls meant to feed large amounts of people will do so, if you make contributions towards the church and a fee. Thats what my family's church does.
Does anyone know of an industrial/commercial kitchen for lease or how to find one in the Dallas area?

Here in Austin, I know there are Bakeries that lease out their kitchens, also some restaurants that are closed int the evenings.
Some of the larger catering places also lease out.
I am trying to get our school district to rent out their school kitchens.. They have all of that great equipment, but all they ever do is heat up food, sent from a commissary..
Depending on what you are planning to make, you do not have to rent a commercial kitchen in Texas. Texas passed the Cottage Food Law in September of this year that allows people to sell Non-hazardous food items to the public from their home kitchens. There are regulations around it so you need to look at the whole law to determine if it applies to you. http://www.texascottagefoodlaw.com/
As for renting from a church, they have to be very careful about renting out their kitchens for money. They are a Non- profit organization and if they start showing profits from renting out their kitchen they can loose their non-profit tax standing. In other words, they can get into BIG trouble with the IRS.
