Elmers on Route 25 is great. They have a thanksgiving buffet. food is really good. I think its about $15 or $16 per person for adults less for kids and seniors. We have been to it several times. ###-###-#### call them for reservations
I had surgery a few weeks ago & wont be able to cook up the usual turkey feast for my family. Does anyone know of any restaurants that are open on Thanksgiving? I should add that we are in Montgomery

A couple of years ago we went to Mimi's Cafe for Thanksgiving and it was really good and they are very kid friendly, I believe that there is one on Rt. 59, not sure of the town. We go out every year because it is just the 5 of us (my mom, g-ma, hubby, justin and I) it is so much easier that way. Have a great thankgiving and hope you feel better soon.
I know there are tons of restaurants open on Thanksgiving in DuPage County. Maybe google DuPage County Restaurants, then make some calls. Reservations are probably needed. (The Lombard, Glen Ellyn, Wheaton, area for sure)
Bakers Square has limited dining hours on Thanksgiving. Don't let the lines for pies discourage you. We got right in. Hope your healing is fast!
The Public Landing in Lockport will be doing a Thanksgiving meal. I think it's $24.99/person, but it's all you can eat from 12-6 or so. I've never had their Thanksgiving meal, but I have eaten there on many occasions, and it's really beautiful and very good.
Their website is www.publiclandingrestaurant.com
Pomegranate Cafe on Commons Drive near the Fox Valley Mall is open for Thanksgiving.
We've been there several times, including Father's Day, and each time we've had an enjoyable experience. (It's not fancy, but the food is good and reasonably priced.)
