Where to Buy a Baggo / Cornhole Game

I am in Oswego. I would like to buy my husband one of these baggo (beanbag) games. No idea where to even begin to look. But I want a nice solid one. We saw them at the jewel but they were pretty rickety not good solid wood. Does anyone know of a crafter that makes these? (Nothing like waiting till the last minute lol)

What can I do next?

We got ours a couple of years ago from a couple in Plainfield (Doug and Ernestine) who custom make the games. He makes the actual boxes and will customize your game with colors and logos. She sews the bags - you can get plain ones or bags to match the boxes, complete with a carrying bag. We went with a Cubs logo on the boxes and matching Cubs bags. These are by far the sturdiest we found (and we shopped around for about a year until we found the one we wanted - and it turns out they live only a few blocks away!). This couple also make the bags games for many companies and organizations in the area for special events. I referred a friend to them last year for a Father's Day gift and she (and her husband) were thrilled with the results! The games are not going to be inexpensive, but you get quality when you pay for it. When we ordered our set, it wasn't going to be completed in time for a big party we were hosting, so Doug loaned us his personal set until ours was finished (again, it's a custom order, so it may not be completed by tomorrow). Their number is ###-###-####. Good luck!

Heh I didn't even know it was called "baggo" lol. We got one recently at HOBO; it had Cubs stuff all over the boards and the bags, and it was about $30 I think. That was a couple months ago but I would imagine a hardware store (menard's or lowe's) would have them too. Sporting goods stores have them but they are pricier... Good luck!

I bet if you go out to the expo at Prairiefest this weekend you will find several sellers. There are also separate crafters that sell bags as well. I'm sure you will find what you are looking for.

Good luck!

I bought ours on ebay from a local person -- they are very sturdy and reasonably priced. We did ours with the Chicago Bears logo.

I don't think he is selling on Ebay anymore (I tried to look up the info) - but if you do a search you can probably find someone local (to save on shipping, etc). I found the ones on Ebay were much sturdier than most I found in stores.

Good luck!
