We just realized that our 7 year old has never played in the snow before!! We want to go next weekend and take our boys to the snow, and we want it to be a really fun experience for our 7 year old. 10 year old has been tons of times. Can anyone suggest a good snow park or something to take them for the day. We don't want to just go drive and pull over on the side of the highway when we find snow! LOL!!

What can I do next?

I hear there is a good snow park at the summit going into So. Lake Tahoe. Do you already have plans where you are going? If so you could call the resort and find out good spots from them. They usually have good ideas.

is a good place to go. They have designated sledding tracks with different levels. We had great fun with two girls (2 and almost 4 yrs old) on the mini track while the adults enjoyed the long tracks.

FRESH POND!..It's about 3000 feet off of 50....there is a gas station that has a great little sledding park right by it...and if you forget anythign..theyahve it....they also make great sandwiches too.....I don't have the number to the gas station...but you can call the station to see if there is snow there. We go there every year. It's not a snow park,,but it works...also there is a "snow park" that we saw signs for in between Sierra Tahoe and Tahoe that I heard was good.
