S.W.
The last jacket I bought was from The Limited. I also like J.Crew for suits (more expensive but great quality). Both seem to have suits year-round.
I need a suit jacket or nice blazer, ASAP.... but since it's spring, I'm having a hard time finding one in stores. I need something professional but girly to wear with a pencil skirt. Any thoughts? I need this for Friday, think if I order something online and overnight it? I'm nervous it won't be right if I don't try it on since I'm so petite. Any website recommendations anyway?
@Jackie, 2nd interview on Friday, SO EXCITED!!

Anne Taylor Loft or Talbots or Black House White Market.

I found a nice set at Gap just a few weeks ago - and the jacket was on clearance.
Do you have an Ann Taylor or Ann Taylor Loft near you? I just saw some cute, springy career type jackets in there last week, and they carry petites as well.
Banana Republic or Talbots would probably be good to check out too :)
Penney's -- take the skirt with you so you are sure they look good together. btw ---- solids are best for a professional look.
Check JC Penneys or Khols. They usually carry womens suits all year and I am sure you can find just the blazer.
Do you have another interview?
Good Luck !! :-)

I would go to JC Penny's but on my way I would stop at a few of my favorite thrift stores first.
There are some cute jackets on sale on Gilt today...not sure of your price range but take a look! http://www.gilt.com/sale/women/contemporary-repeat-placeh...
If you need an 'invite' let me know and I'll invite you to join...

Second hand shops...they have some real deals
Try Ann Taylor and Banana Republic. They carry petite sizes and always have professional clothes. Love their clothes...most of my wardrobe is from there.
I like the suggestion of Anne Taylor and J crew. Also, you might check out J. Jill. They have some cute cotton and linen fitted jackets. My mom, who is a professional, gives me her left overs and throw outs and I like pairing a J. Jill jacket with slacks or pencil skirt.
And good luck on the interview!!!
Any department store should have them. Also, try Burlington Coat Factory for some savings.
Ann Taylor (or Ann Taylor Loft)
Talbots
Macy's (buy a suit and just wear the blazer)
Good luck!
Hi, R.:
I would go to thrift stores. I buy all my blazers from there. Of course, I go frequently so I can see if any are available.
Good luck.

my only thought is burlington coat factory.
