Hi K.,
If you're in Midland Park NJ, there's a park in Elmwood Park, NJ, between Market Street and Route 4. It actually might be in Garfield, but there are ducks, a pond, swingsets. Good Luck.

I am by grandson's babysitter and i would like to know where to take him to play. There are no parks in Midland Park.

Go to Ridgewood, which is the next town east of Midland Park. It has a nice park around the duck pond on East Ridgewood Avenue, across the street from the big office building. Also, Glen Rock has a nice County Park which you can access from Prospect Street. Both these places are about a 5 to 8 minute drive from Midland Park. If you would like to discuss anything, including having your own business that you can work from home in your own hours, call me. I. Take him into Ridgewood, which is next to Midland park. Vets field has a play ground, a sidewalk around the field for bike riding or walking and the Ridgewood Library is right there also.
Good Luck and enjoy your time with him.
Definately the Van Saun Park playground or the Ridgewood Duck Pond playground at Saddle River Park. Both have toddler playgrounds so he can do everything : ) See you there!
As others said, Van Saun park in Paramus is great. We also like the Ridgewood Duck Pond and Glen Rock duck pond playgrounds. They aren't as big as Van Saun, but are closer.
Van Saun Park in Paramus is nice.
Along with the parks in Ridgewood. There is a great playground in Wyckoff. It is on Franklin Ave, right next to the football fields. Also in Wyckoff is Abma Farms. They have animals that your grandson can feed plus you can get all sorts of great produce and food in the market.
Have fun!
HI K.. I love taking my girls 6 and 3 to Van Saun Park in Paramus. They have a great playground and in the beginning of the week I think Monday and Tuesday's they have free admission to the zoo. You can also put him on the merry go round as a treat. That's what I do with mine.
I hope he likes it

There is a park in Waldwick which is the town next to you. I am sorry I don't know the street address but if you go to the waldwick home page and call the town clerk they can tell you where it is. I know it is near the high school and it has a really big jungle gym that will keep him busy.
check out the "duck pond" park in ridgewood. EastRidgewood ave between Maple and Paramus rd. Small playground by Ridgewood Library. Check out the library too. Bergen County Park in Glen Rock-- Prospect Ave. Dunkerhook Park in Paramus (off Paramus Rd).
Hi K.,
There is a park in Veteran's Field on Maple Avenue next to the Ridgewood Library that is perfect for a two-year-old---contained environment, not too big and equipment made for the younger set.
