Hi J.,
I have a ten month old son and am 11 weeks pregnant. I know it's tempting to take the tests that claim to be able to tell you 5 days before, but the truth is even those tests are very hard to read that early. I suggest you use the early detection tests but don't take it until the day you are supposed to get your period. If your LMP was OCt. 25 and you have a normal 28 day cycle, it should probably be November 22nd. However, I will tell you that with both my pregnancies I took the test on the day my period was due and the positive sign was so faint that i really wasn't sure. I then took it again the following day (1 day after my missed period) and the test was clear as could be. There was no doubt then. The reason why is because the pregnancy hormone the the test detect is so low in the beginning, but it goes up about every 48 hours, so if you don't get a positive reading or a very faint one just take it again a day or two later. Best of Luck!!!!
