Hi,
I purchased a bunch of bananas on Saturday and they are still super green. Tonight I double checked to make sure they are not plantains...they're not. I have them sitting on top of the fridge on a plastic bag. Should I put them in a paper bag?

Thanks!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you for your response! I combined the recommendations and put the bananas in a paper bag in the warmest cabinet. They finally ripened this week :o)

When you keep them in a bag the oxygen can't get to them and they take longer to ripen. You an poke a hole in the plastic or just take them out of the bag.
