i think you guys must all be rich cause min wage is $7/hr. Shoot i'ld never pay a 13 year old $100/week. $25-$40/week sounds better. i mean not as if completly babysitting. myself i think 13 is a bit young to help out that age of baby
I was wondering if anyone knows the going rate for a mothers helper. I am going to have a 13 year old girl help me out with my 8 month old son next week and am not sure what to offer her. She will probably be with me 3-4 hours each day. THANKS!!

I would say 100-150 for the week...
Hi M.
I am a licensed family provider and i have a 13 year old working for me picking up the school-age children from school. She works 5 days a week from 3;30-6;00pm. she helps with homework, gets there snacks, plays boardgames and reads, to them. I pay here $8,00 dollars and hour for her services. good luck.
ten sounds good to me
I have to tell you, I have a 12 year old sister who comes over to help me with my four year old sometimes and she is completely thrilled with whatever I give her. Most of the time she only wants to buy nailpolish and candy anyway. I ususally give her 10-20 dollars depending on how good/bad my daughter was!
it really depends. honestly, in my opinion 7-8 an hour is fair without breaking the banks.
I'd pay her between 8-10 an hour. Good luck!

The rate for an unregistered daycare provider or babysitter is 2.88 an hour. I would say between 50 and 70 a week would be sufficient, beings she is helping you.
I agree with the 7 to 8 dollar range as well. Good luck!
