Hi moms, I'm kinda lost on what to put in my daughter's stocking this year! Besides maybe a few small pieces of candy or what not. What would you give a 15 month old girl for stocking stuffers? I didn't do one last year since she was only three months at the time and this is my husband and I's first child. Please help and thanks in advance ladies! :) Happy holidays

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you ladies again! I am going Sunday to get the items such as suckers (she loves them but doesn't get them too often.), stuffed animal, board book(s), maybe a new character sippy and some slippers if i can find in her size (but shouldn't have any problems with that.) and little snacks for her. :)

One small gift or stickers, crayons. She won't care! In fact, you might not even get to open all of her gifts as she might be interested in the first one and not want to leave it for long enough to open the others.

they don't know what stocking stuffers are at that age....
NO candy at this age. It is a choking hazard as well.

A winter or Christmas themed book fits well. You can get smaller sized board books or just buy a paperback and roll up. A toothbrush to get her excited about that. Some blocks or other age appropriate toy would also work. My kids always also got a pair of season themed socks. Also marshmallows.

** Don't go too crazy! She will be overwhelmed by the whole experience, but we did one for our son last year too and he had fun digging around to see what was in there**

Love these suggestions. Some of them I am going to use for my kids...10 and 6. (crayons, books, socks, slippers)

My mom, I mean Santa, always gives everyone an orange. Her family did it too. Tradition I guess. I will have to find out the meaning behind it. We all look forward to it though.

I would get bath crayons and toys for the kids when they were small. Oh yeah, I would also get them a new toothbrush since they would get so much more candy and cookies this time of year. Same with their Easter baskets.. a new toothbrush was always included..lol

Is there a DVD that she likes? I would put something like that in there also. My daughter is 11 and still gets very little candy. She is getting a CD in her stocking this year with a small amount of candy.

Our Target stores have a $1 section right inside the door...most of my child's stocking stuffers have come from that section at one time or another. I stop by there everytime I'm in the store and just stock up thru out the year. Lipgloss, slinky, little note pads, socks,....lots of fun, cheap stuff.

Hi there,
I have put small picture books in my girls stockings when they were young. I usually picked the ones with lots of pictures. It's fun to watch them look through the book and point at certian things on the pages. I've also put in cool tippy cups or night lights. Hope this helps.

sippy cup
new hair brush/comb set
mini baby doll (found it at Michaels craft store)
a candy cane
barettes & hair bows
socks
a bouncey ball
I hope it all fits (the sippy is sort of big)
Good Luck!

My son was 10 months last Christmas and I put bath squirt toys and some Nuks in his stocking and he was quite happy with that. He still plays with the bath toys. Sippy cups, small toys, and even some safe candy a 15 month old can eat would be a great idea. My DS loves push pops and suckers and as long as your DD is supervised candy wont be an issue.

Beanie Baby size stuffed animals; "microphone"--Target and Walmart have the simple echo one in their "trinket" sections for like $3--she's at a good age to just have fun with her voice with that. Small board books--there are many stores that carry them for a dollar or two, many with Christmas themes (Target dollar spot, walmart, etc.)

Socks, hair accessories, mittens, crayons, stickers (big hit here!), some of those small Duplo sets, small board book (I like the Bright & Early series with Dr. Suess etc.), musical instruments like maracas.
