What to Give Childcare Provider for Her Birthday?

Our childcare provider is absolutely fantastic. Not only does my 2 year old daughter have a blast when she goes there, but she LEARNS so much. It's as close to school as you can get for a 2 year old. She goes 2-3 times per week. The provider's birthday is in 2 weeks and I'm clueless as to what an appropriate gift should be. I know I can have my daughter make her a card or color a picture, but I want to also give a gift from my husband & I.

Thanks!

I really appreciated that a parent even remembered it was my birthday.

Some gave restaurant gift cards, mall cards, or local salon cards. I loved all of them!

Another idea was that some would stop at the bakery and bring dounuts and cookies for snack time for all the kids. (nice to get a short break from making it myself!)

Anything really. Just the fact that you are nice enough to do this is a gift in itself. I have had parents bring me a coffee, cupcakes, lunch, gift cards, plants, etc. Just knowing that they did something special for me made my day and it didn't really matter what it was!!

i would say a giftcard would be great...target or lakeshore learning to buy something for the daycare and/or something personal like for a pedicure or her favorite restaurant.

I agree a gift card for her would be great- as a daycare provider that kind of gift would be greatly appreciated.
