What to Buy 15 Month Old for Christmas??

You'd think I'd have this down seeing as he is my THIRD boy. But I'm just at a loss! Every time I go out, I see tons of things for my older two. But when it comes to the baby, I either think "He'll never play with it, too many pieces, we already have it.......!!??

I just don't know what to get him! So far I just have 2 outfits a DVD, and a pillow pet. I know he won't even remember, but it's just the point. I want something fun for him to open, but what?? I've had to keep myself from buying the older two things because I've gotten them plenty of stuff. Probably too much. I've already been through our playroom twice and dropped off tons of stuff to goodwill to make room for the upcoming landslide of toys. While I don't want to spoil them, I want them to get a few nice fun things.

Any ideas? He doesn't really play with much. He plunders in the multiple small baskets of cars and action figures. But otherwise he's the typical zero attention span toddler lol

What can I do next?

ok, so cars and action figures. Have you looked at the preschool line of action figures, they have all sorts and even playsets to go with them, all with large toddler friendly pieces. Could fill that void of one cool toy, and it would go along with something he does already play with.

I so know what you're going through, after having my second daughter I had the same thoughts. Even to the point it was hard telling others what to get her too.

Obviously, you'll have to come up with a couple toys, but outside of that don't worry so much that your not spending as much as the others. It would just be wasting money to be forced purchasing just to purchase something for him. He'll probably open gifts much slower then your other two anyway. :)

Good luck!

Oh, I just posted this response on another question - Crayola TaDoodles. They come in a rolling car storage tray and are crayons or markers in cute animal etc. shapes. My little guy enjoys coloring then putting them back on the tray and rolling it.

I just got some "different" stuff from Fat Brain toys. You can check out their website. My DD is 15mos, and I just got her a Bilibo and a latch board.

I like to look for stuff that you don't find in normal stores. Old fashioned or basic stuff. I'm done with all the V-tech and Leapfrog stuff for littles ones. They get tossed in the toy bin 5 minutes after they get them anyway!

Little people! My 18 month old twins(boy and girl) have been playing with my 4 year old daughter's sets since they were 12 months. They actually PLAY with them for 10-20 minutes in a sitting. Their favorites are the ones that make animal sounds(the zoo and barn). They also like to put each animal/person in the cups of a dozen muffin pan and keep rearranging them. And your older ones can play with him, too!
