You want a song for you to walk down the aisle to...
- Rainbow Connection (Kermit the Frog sings it, but there is a really beautiful instrumental version)
- Wonderful World
I've been struggling with finding a lovely song to walk down the aisle to, so I thought I'd turn to you.
The precessional song is posted in the SWH.
I just need a song for me to walk to. Hit me up with your great ideas. I love Coldplay's "Yellow."

I doubt you'd want to, but I walked to The Imperial March (Star Wars) for laughs and a surprise. People still talk about my husband's face when that came on, and how he just started shaking, trying to hold in his laughter.
As for your precessional: I have always loved C Perri, and it's lovely with the violin. Good choice for a more serious affair. It'll be wonderful, whatever you choose for the rest. Congrats!
Air on the G String?
The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face?
Something a little more unusual: Three Little Birds?
"These boots are made for walkin?"
oops, probably the wrong theme...
I love "Here Comes the Sun" by the Beatles. Such a happy, timeless, and optimistic song. I'm sure you could find a beautiful instrumental arrangement.
Wow that precessional piece is beautiful!!!
I love "Into the Mystic" but that's probably too casual.
What about Pachelbel's Canon or is that too formal?
Storybook Love, the theme from the Princess Bride movie!!!

I have always LOVED Yanni - I walked down to "To Have To Hold" by Yanni.
It is quite different from Coldplay, but really I just wanted to emphasize that I think it is important and cool when people put themselves into their ceremony rather than always going with traditional music.
:-) Use what you like! :-) BTW - LOVE the thought of star wars march!! LOL that would have been awesome to witness! :-)
Good friends of ours used Super Mario Bros. theme (played on string quartet!) for their recessional...that was cool :-)
Love, love, love April's!!!
I walked in to "Do You Dream of Me" by Michael W Smith. Our Music Minister played it. I think it's a beautiful song, but I wanted him just to play it and not sing.
How about Led Zeppelin's Kashmir? Or Thank You?
Genesis' "Follow You, Follow Me"
I'm going to assume there are no restrictions on the music choices by the church?
Always appropriate at weddings: "In My Life" by the Beatles.
You want a real song, or classical?
I walked down to Trumpet Voluntary. In the church with the orchestra, it sounded rich and fantastic. And different from what you normally hear...at least for me.
I love the song "Cinderella" by Steven Curtis Chapman. He wrote it for his daughter when she was getting married.
I used Pachelbel's Canon.
i'm old. so my suggestions are so decades ago.
'longer', 'annie's song', and my personal favorite 'still you turn me on.'

Okay, so earlier today I came across a video on my news feed that fits PERFECTLY with your post! Definitely won't fit with your feel, but still worth watching for the entertainment value!!
I don't know if you like country or not, but "Stealin' Cinderella" is a good one, too.
I like "I Could Never Promise You" by Don Francisco.
I walked down the aisle to Por ti volaré". You can use the instrumental version.
