What Is Your Choice of Deodorant?

What kind of deodorant do you use that works and that you like? I swear I tried almost every brand-even clinical and a few years ago I even had a rx one, but that made me break out...GRRRR! I am at a loss on what to try next. I use to get the Degree Nature Effects Tree Tree odor fighting, but believe they do not manufacture that anymore. Thanks in advance for any responses. L.

I am not picky about the brand but it has to be unscented. I buy when it's on sale so brands are not important.

Quite often breakouts are caused by the scent.

I use the dove clinical strength because it's the only one that doesn't leave yellow stains on my shirts

I make ours. I use a mixture of coconut oil, beeswax, tea tree, vit A oil, and baking soda or arrowroot powder, and mix it all in a mason jar heated in boiling water until it all melts. I then just pore the liquid into some old deodorant containers I had from before (I wash and reuse the same ones) so it pushes up just like the store bought stuff. It is what the whole family uses, even my husband, and it works great.

check amazon for the one you think they don't make anymore if it worked well for you , or Walgreens or CVS website, you may be able to get some from the overstock.

I use Mitchum gel for women. but i don't really sweat much, I like it because its clear so no white lines on my shirts and it doesn't feel sticky.
I (like my dad) don't really need to use deoderant, I use it more because I'm an "adult" and we're supposed to LOL

My daughter is a heavy sweater and she uses Secret Clinical, she loves it.

"Regular" deodorants havn't worked for me. Someone suggested Mitchum and I've used it for years. I use the roll on and a solid one, both unscented.

I use Thai deodorant stone. One stone lasts me over 6 months. It does not irritate my skin. I find it at Target, cosmetic stores and Amazon.

secret invisible solid. But my choice doesn't sound like it would work for you.

I've actually considered not using deodorant at all any more, but I don't want to take the chance since ihave to work. if I were a SAHM I wouldn't. I never had wet pits and only smell my sweat if I am working out. watch menopause will throw me for a loop and i'll be dripping up a storm.

I use un-scented Men's Mitchem gel. Love it. No stains no odor stays clean.

I do prefer gel over solid for no staining.

I use the Secret Natural Mineral deodorant. I have sensitive skin, and this one works pretty well for me. I read somewhere that the "clinical" ones don't work as well as they're advertised to, and can really irritate your skin.

If you're very, very sweaty, you might ask your dermatologist about Botox injections. I have a friend who sweats profusely, and she gets Botox injections in her underarms every couple of months. She swears by it.

I started using a clinical strength one a few years ago. Before that, I would use just about anything. However, as I got older I would find myself sweating more and I started getting underarm stains. Once I started using clinical strength, that problem disappeared entirely. Brand doesn't seem to matter for me Secret, Suave etc...I buy whatever I have a coupon for...

I use Dove, but you might consider a crystal vs a regular deoderant. You may be allergic to a common ingredient.

Michum for women, power gel. It's strong enough and doesn't leave white residue on my clothes. You just have to make sure you put it on and let it dry before getting dressed.

ish. it's such an issue. i don't want to use the ones with heavy chemicals and fragrances, as they're SO unhealthy. but i'm not a naturally sweet-smelling gal.
i use the crystal stones, both the solid and the spray, but i keep a stick of secret unscented solid for the days i'll be out and about in the world, and really really can't risk smelling unpleasant.
a dab of baking soda with a drop of water to make a paste, applied to the pits, will often do for 'around the house.'
