Hi, just wondering , since I'm still trying to get familiar with Aurora and the surrounding burbs, what is the best pumpkin patch to go to? WHich one has the most to do , see, most fun we as a family will enjoy. I have a 16 month old and may have my friend also come with , has a 1yr old.
I also have another question, do people go to pumpkin patches after Halloween? My dh thinks we should go this weekend because he thinks they are only open till halloween is that true? Thanks

What can I do next?

another vote for Kuipers, we go every year. One year we went to one down here in Plainfield and after 30 minutes LEFT and drove the hour plus to Kuipers. We have never done any other since.

My son just went to Windy Acres in Batavia with his preschool class. It was cute and I don't think too expensive. They have 4 inflatable jumpy things, pumpkin patch you can take a tractor ride to and a little petting zoo area. It is located by Fabyn and Randall roads, near Walmart. I think that a lot of the activities at Kuipers are way over priced. Another great place to check out discounted tickets to pumpkin farms is www.wbig1280.com. It is a radio shopping show that services this area. There are tons of stuff you can buy for half the price. Check out the site, it is great!

I also remember taking my oldest to Windy Acres when he was 16 months. I remember at that age the petting zoo was the best. There are lots of animals there. Good luck and have fun!

My family & I went there this past weekend, there is so much to do that we did not realize we had been there 3 hours. Totally worth every penny we spent! Check out the website for more info www.kuipersfamilyfarm.com

We really like Kuipers Family Farm. It's not too far from Aurora. It takes us about 25 minutes from Oswego. Here's the link to it.

The best, by far - http://ourpumpkinfarm.com/ - Cottonwood Farms. I love it there - there is a huge play area, train rides...so much fun! There are B1G1 free tickets at the Menards in Plainfield, as well as the one across the street from the PP.

FYI, most pumpkin patches are not open after Halloween.
