Well I am 28 weeks pregnant and I am looking for a travel system and I am so confused about which one to purchase. If there are any suggestions on what to buy and not to buy please let me know.

What can I do next?

i agree with lori and have advised others to bypass the travel system for the snap-n-go type and then an umbrella stroller. the graco carriers are the safest as per consumer reports testing and literally snap right into the snap-n-go. there is one specifically for graco products and one for another brand. the staff at babies-r-us were able to tell me which one i needed. once the kid is out of the carrier, all you need is an umbrella stroller-lightweight, easy to store, unfold, and strap the kid in. my supposed travel system hardly saw the light of day, except around the neightborhood a few times because the wheels were bigger and tackled the sidewalk better.

I have the Chicco travel system... i forget the specific name but it's tan and orange (you'll know it when you see it). I got it at Babies R us and I love it - it's really easy to use and lightweight for getting it into the car.

I have the Graco MetroLite Travel System in Delancy Print and I love my stroller. I looked at alot and this one was the only one that was lite and easy to open and close. The large basket on the bottom is great too when you go shopping. The infant car seat clicks right in without a probelm.
My son is 23 months old used it since he was born and it still looks brand new and I am going to be using it again with my daugther who is due in May. Good Luck stroller shopping!!

I loved my Graco travel system. The pieces were light and went together easily. I actually have had great luck with all Graco products and would not try any other brand.

If I knew then what I know now... I would not get the travek system , and go with the snap and go. The graco travel system was too big, and not necessary. I ended up with a second stroller, and gave th egraco stroller to my mom. The graco snug ride car seat was great, and I highly recommend it.

I recommend passing the travel systems by and using an infant carrier and a Snap-and-Go (or other universal car-seat carrier) until you need a stroller. Travel systems are limiting, and there are so many great strollers that don't take carriers, or, on the other hand, so many great carrier that have not-so-great stroller counterparts. I like the Graco infant carriers, but I would never, ever own a Graco stroller, even if it was given to me for free. On the other hand, I like Peg Perego strollers, but the infant carriers are insanely expensive and just good, but not great. It depends on your needs, I guess.

For my son, I got a Peg Perego carrier and stroller that matched, and used them as a travel system, and found it unwieldy and sometimes inconvenient. When my daughter was born less than a year later, I used the same Peg Perego carrier but my Kolcraft Universal Carseat Carrier, and it was easy and light and really preferable to the stroller/carrier combo to me.

I wish I had gotten a Graco carrier and the Universal Carrier, and then gotten some other fabulous stroller later on, but you live and learn.

We have used the Graco pack-n-play through two babies and will use it for number three. It is easy to set up and take down and everything fits fairly compactly. I never bought a regular bassinet, just used the pack-n-play bassinet insert. It also has a nice changing area.
