From my experience, it's not about one thing that you put in your body to make you healthy or lose weight. It's about putting all healthy things in your body, exercising daily, and drinking enough water.
Acia berry is good, but I don't understand why they bottle it all! Bottling anything they have to heat it and that changes the properties, of the berries, why not get the real berry and juice it or make a smoothie with it.
Both my parents have lost 20 pounds in about 3 months following the 80 10 10 diet, and I am slowly starting to phase into it as well. My sister that is 25 is doing it as well and has never felt healthier! Basically it's getting back to nature and feeding your body live food. When food it cooked it takes most of the nutrients out of that food. I have been sensitive to dairy, wheat (glutin), and meat for many years, and have suffered with digestion, stomach ulcers, possibly fibroids for about 3 years, and finely getting hope and feeling better on a raw food diet. We make at least 2 smoothies a day and also have a green smoothie as well ( includes spinach or other fresh greens.) We have stopped buying processed foods as well because they have so much junk in them. It's definantly a lifestyle change but it's alot of fun and really works to bring the weight off and make you feel better. Also it has cured diabetes in people when they put all this good food in their body.
So anyways, I have been trying Shakeology in my smoothies and it is so yummy and gives it a little added boost in nutrition. Some things you just can't get in the produce section.
