They can take themselves to a doctor. An emergency room, if necessary.

It could be nothing more than indigestion causing the symptoms. It could be an inflamed esophagus, or an ulcer, in which case, aspirin would probably make it worse. It could be a panic attack. It could be a blocked artery to the heart – a heart attack, which won't get better with baby aspirin.

I hope you can convince this person to get medical help, fast.

It really depends on the cause of the "heart pain." Chest pain can be caused by any number of the internal organs. Are you sure it is the heart? It can be anything from heartburn to pneumonia to a pulled muscle to a heart attack. Your friend should see a doctor.

This someone should see a doctor. There is no way for a lay person to know the cause of the pain or what to do for it.

Baby aspirin is not for heart pain. It helps to keep circulation healthy. It affects the blood and not the heart.

If this person doesn't have health insurance they can be seen at a Multnomah County Health Clinic which charges on a sliding scale. This person may also be eligible for the Oregon Health Plan.

Belch or no belch, if they were in enough pain to want medicine, they need to get checked. Heart attacks are weird things, and can take several days of warning signs before those pains manifest into full on symptoms, and other times the symptoms are subtle, ending in a "silent but sudden" heart attack.

This person should go see their doctor to make sure there isn't a block or hidden issue lurking.

Baby aspirin isn't for pain, it's to take preventatively. If a person might be having a heart attack, you don't spend time asking questions on the internet. Good way to die. Heart/chest pain is a time for calling 911.

For any kind of chest pain you should get to the ER right away. Chest/heart pain is not something to mess around with.
