ha! I like your description;-) hehe...glad they aren't mutants. You don't see many BIG families these days.
I come from a family of nine girls, no boys. I LOVED it. It was awesome growing up in a large family. I loved having so many sisters and best friends. It's something I want my kids to enjoy too. I feel like so many people are anti-big family or act like it automatically means they are neglected or not provided well for...bla bla bla. Big families are AWESOME (and, of course, there are some that aren't well taken care of, but so many ARE well taken care of! and the same can be said for small families).
You have a beautiful family;-)
EDIT: To what Linda P said, we get those looks too. People stare at us when we go to stores! We have four little ones...all look very close in age. Then I'm prego with #5. It's funny how people stare. It's becoming more and more rare to have larger families! Luckily most people are very polite and encouraging to us. They usually watch with a smile. And, it's so silly when people expect you're done like they did with Linda. Only my MIL does that with us (so annoying!).
