What is the going rate for childcare these days? Also are you using care full time or part time and is anyone receiving discounts for siblings? I have not raised my rates in years and I am not looking to but I was wondering if I am close to the mark. Thanks for all the info.
My daughter (school-age) goes to day care 2 days one week and 3 days the next. For the 2-day week it's 70 and the 3-day week is 100. These are the summer rates. I'm not sure what the rates will be when she starts school in a few weeks. Last year, we paid $62 for a full week of after-school care through the YMCA at the school.
I pay $160 for first child, $140 for second child for full-time in-home daycare that is licensed and registered with the state. The price does not change when the kids get past baby stage.
I pay 150.00 for my infant and 140.00 a week for my 23 month old. When she turns 2 it goes down to 125.00 a week . They are in a daycare facility.
When my son was in an in-home daycare we paid $35/day. He is now going to a center daycare and we pay $135 for 3 days.

Here are the Average rates in Keller Facilities. I use to be an Assistant Director and part of my job was to call and get rates around our area. Now Aug there is an expected increase at most centers between 3-5 dollars.

Toddler I (12-18m) $205-$230)
Toddler II (18m-24m) ($195-$215)
Two's not potty trained ($185-$210)
Two potty trained usueally $5.00 less
3's not potty trained same rate as two's not potty trained
3's potty trained ($165-$190)
4/5's not in school $165-$180)
B/A Kindergarten ($100-$165)
Private K ($165-$195)
B/A School ($85-$100)
