What are your favorite things to do while your kids are sleeping?
I like to do several things:
Take a nap myself;
Clean;
Take a bath;
Relax and watch tv uninterupted;
Drink a cup of tea and read;
What about you?

REST!!!!!!!! (My fave)
It's my favorite time because it's restful, quiet and I know my baby is safe with me. :)
When my kids are sleeping I love to grab a Dr.Pepper and watch TV and catch up on my favorite shows. Or surf the web and catch up on all my surveys, coupons, and etc. Its my time and I enjoy it and escape for a minute lol!
I used to actually watch them sleep and hope they would wake up soon. I know, ridiculous!!!!! Otherwise, it was a shower or chillin' in front of the TV.
I started laying down with my youngest child, to get her off to sleep, when she transferred from a crib to her own bed...and I got into the habit of taking about a 20 - 30 minute "power nap"...every afternoon around 1:00... my "baby" is now 27 years old...a college professor and I am STILL taking my "power naps"...lol. give me an A+ for consistency!!!
Hi L.
My son is passed napping now but when he did I did one thing and that was sleep too lol
Enjoy nap time while you can!
B.
All of the above. I used to be a lot more productive during nap time. But now I am 32 weeks pregnant, so napping or relaxing and going online/reading/watching tv has been what I do most days.

I nap with them.
It's snuggle time.
= )
Precious time!! Pay bills, do laundry, go through all mail, eat lunch, clean (quietly)....at home workouts, take shower!
I like to eat my lunch and then fold clothes while watching tv.
Well, when I had kids we didnt have internet. I'm sure if I had kids now, my answer would be "GET ONLINE" for a little while :)
But in the "olden days", I pretty much did what you do. NAP was always the top thing on the list I'm sure.
What do I LIKE to do? Or what do I NEED to do? Big difference ;)
Usually, I catch up on work, phone calls, and laundry... BOOOOO.
But yesterday I snuck into the kiddie pool for 30 minutes and read a magazine. I like to veg out in front of the tv and put my feet up. 30 minute power naps are a necessity some days! I keep saying '30 minutes' because my son isn't a big sleeper... so time is of the essence ;)
All of the above!! LOL - I think I like to nap the most, but that is what I get to do the least.....
My youngest does not nap anymore but still has quiet time.
I catch up on emails, make phone calls, work out to a video, go sit in my garden and read for abit, pay the bills...sometimes I even get a little power nap. There have been times that I just go sit in the sun and do nothing but breathe and relax in silence.
Nap time was always a treasured time in my home. Now my littlest one will be heading to kindergarten in the Fall...I can't believe the naptime phase is over for me. It went by soooo fast!!
Relax and take advantage of all the quiet time you can get while they are young.
I've never really napped during the day......My kids don't take naps anymore, but when they did, I would clean, do bills etc for most of the time and then maybe watch some t.v. or make a phone call to someone to chat. When my oldest stopped napping, but the younger was still down for 2 hrs, I would have him play quiet for 1 hr while I cleaned and if he did that good then I would spend the last hour playing board games and reading with him. Very good one on one play time for my oldest!!!
I watch shows I've DVR'd and just relax and eat my lunch in peace.
