What Do You Do on Your iPad?

I don't use ours much as I have my own macbook, but my kids use it all the time. My husband is techie though. We have downloaded a ton of games which the kids play. My husband reads books off it, amazon kindle, ibooks. My husband has uploaded TV programs and movies for our 3 yr old to watch, he knows how to work it more than me! We also have netflix, facebook. My husband has synced it with our apple tv so we have all our photos on it too. That worked out really great when we went back to the UK for the summer. You can do everything a computer does except only can have O. email account registered to it. I initially thought we wouldn't use it much, but it has definitely become the younger kids laptop. I don't think apple anticipated that use, but anyone I know who has O. their kids use it way more than they do!

Same thing as I use all the computers/laptops for...anything and everything!

iPads are GREAT!
My Hubby has O.... you can via internet or wi-fi.... check/do your e-mail, instant messages... basically anything you would do from a desktop computer.... except applications like microsoft office etc.

you can play games, download it for free, it is called "apps."
Or do surfing, read, listen to music, we even watch TV shows from it... I find recipes on it too... and my kids play games on it too.
You can do most anything with an iPad.

the iPad... is just really fun, really useful, really really handy and useful. I know I"m repeating myself, but it is so great!

My husband has O., too.

Basically, he uses his laptop when lots of typing is necessary. The iPad is more for playing media. He uses it to play games, learn Italian, watch Netflix movies, read ebooks. He had it for a couple of months already and is still in love with it!

We just got O.!! I just use facebook, and some free apps, haven't had the courage to actually spend money on apps just yet, there are some great free apps for our 4 year old girl. It's fun, but if it wasn't a gift, I wouldn't have bought it (we too, are Mac to the core type of people!)

Yes, yes, yes, yes...mostly I do my bill payments from my iPad. If I need to type a long message or work on a complex project, I use a laptop or desktop instead, since the iPad keyboard is not the most efficient way to go.
