T.S.
I've had this kind of thing before ( a few times actually) it was J. a puffed up blood vessel. It would be a bit uncomfortable and would pop it with a pin. Not that you should, it's J. what I did. It went away soon.
OK so I have this small bump just on the inside "down there" it doesn;t itch, hurt or burn, (a little uncomfy, if I keep touching it to find out what it is, but I think thats from me, also it is not a sore, no open area, and just a tiny skin colored bump that goes away if i push down on it kinda...) and I do have a little discharge kinda like a yeast infection. I just finished a round of antibiotics for a urinary tract infection and a skin infection that looked like pimples, that the doctor tested and said it was folluclitis (sp) she said the medicine normally gives you a yeast infection, so could that be what this is...I'm paranoid about stds....I just got tested for everything 2 months ago and came back negative for everything...could it be an std? has anyone had a small skin colored bump that doesnt look like a sore right on the inside with a yeast infection? Ihave the meds for a yeast infection that she precribed when i got the anitbiotics and i still havent taken it...I've been tested recently and have only been with one guy for 7 months, should I let him know it could be something? I'm freaked
woohoo i got checked I'm good=)

It could be any plethura of things, from a vericose vein to a benign cyst (those are very common in the pubic area, I have one that presents itself from time to time and it gets aggravated by pH changes around the vagina- like taking antibiotics). Judging by your situation it doesn't sound like STD-related to M. but I'm not a doc, if you are concerned better to be safe than sorry.
Go get checked. Yeast infections do produce bumps. It could be any number of things and it is better to be safe than sorry and to ease your mind.
If at any time you had a pap and tested positive for HPV, it could be the virus showing itself. really, not a huge deal. It comes and goes, but does cause genital warts - yuck, I know, but it may not have shown up positive on a regular STD exam (I have never had one to my knowledge, so I am not sure).
J. a thought. . .I am not aware of yeast infections causing "bumps" but again, I am no doc.
Also, not to be gross, but is it in your vagina or on your bikini line? In vagina, need to see a doc- bikini line watch it and make sure not J. an ingrown hair or skin tag as mentioned by others.
So sorry for your anxiety. Hang in there!
Hi Jen,
Go to the obgyn today. I would get it checked out. Its hard to tell what it could be. I hope you feel better!
M
Could be a skin tag, could be an ingrown hair. You said YOU got tested, but did HE? I'd get it checked and err on the side of caution. Good luck!
it sounds like a begnin cyst...i get those every once in a while and basically freaked when I first got it - went to the OB/GYN and she laughed at M. (we are on a GOOD REPOIRE!!) and said it was a cyst!
There are times when we get pimples down there as well...yeppers - those pores can block up too!!!
It's either from the folliculitis. My husband gets it on his neck and if he's on antibiotics they sometimes look like that before they get infected or it could be a scar from a hair follicle that got infected. The only kind of STD it could be is HPV and even then it doesn't sound like it. The only crappy thing with HPV is that you could have contracted it when you were 18 then it doesn't decide to do anything until you're 30. And it can pop up within 2 months.. but it J. sounds like a hair follicle that is either scarred or blocked. And I'd guess the yeast infection is J. coincidence from the meds and has nothing to do with the bump. Good luck.
