the double seat barbie jeep. My daughter got one when she was 4 and rode it until she was 9. It holds up to 150 lbs total weight so I even rode it at times even though I was too tall for it lol.
Hi Moms,
We are in the market for a battery operated car for my daughter's 4th birthday. Some look very small and we want one she can keep for a while. The fisher price ones seem too small. Any suggestions for a tall girl? She's 4 in November but wearing size 5 clothes. Thanks

Hi! Both my boys are big & we've had two batt op cars. We just judged by the weight limit on them. We didn't want them out growing them too fast. My mom (also named B.) bought one of the tractor/trucks & I bought the 4 wheeler, when my oldest was 3 & 30 lbs. These are the bigger ones but, they have a 70 lb weight limit. My oldest is now 8, 4' 7", 64 lbs & still riding. My youngest is 3 1/2, 41 lbs & loves them. Hope this helps!
We recently bought our 5 year old a 3-wheel scooter that is battery operated. It's a Disney Princess scooter that is made by KidTrax. It's recommended for up to 50 pounds. It's nice because it has a little more leeway for leg room since it's open. They are sold at WalMart and Toys R Us. We got ours at WalMart for about $120. I hope you find something that will work for her!
I can't say which one is the best, however check out overstock freight in the carefree industrial park (independece area off 291- you can find more info on KC craigslist). we just got our son one for his-day and it was only $45 W/battery, charger, mnanual and they are already put together :)
We love this place and it is worth the drive from raymore area- they have everything from clothes, lighting, playground equipment, larger furniture and lots more
Hope this helps :)
We bought our daughter the Gator for her 4th birthday. The seat moves back to give her more room. She is one of the tallest in her class in 1st grade now. She is still able to ride the Gator when her younger brother lets her. He kind of took over it as soon as he could drive it. She is wearing a size 7 pants and is 6 years old. You want one that the seat will be able to be moved back so that she has room to grow with it. Or get her a battery op four wheeler (not a real one). As someone else mentioned pay attention to the weight limit as well. I hope this helps.
Oh the one thing about the Gator that we ran into is that the reverse went out a month or so after we had it, took it back and got another one and that one the reverse went out in as well. My son just moves it around when he gets stuck. He could care less that there is no reverse. My daughter liked to switch gears while it was still in motion and I think that might be what tore it up. Just the only thing that we have not liked about the Gator.
