Hey, girls. I was just wondering what you were planning on getting your 2-3 yr old little man for Christmas. I have a few ideas but need more! Thanks.

We are getting our son a bike this year for Christmas. He'll be 3 in January (although he looks like he's 4) it's time for a bike. We are getting a Spider man bike, I'm pretty excited to see his face on Christmas morning.
My 3 year old is all about superheroes. He loves the shake up cars and anythins spiderman, batman, or hulk esp on vehicles.
I planning to get a a lot of leap frogs toys. Like for my 4 yr old I plan to get him the leapster with maybe two or three games. Then for my 2yr old soon to be 3 in Jan the click start so he will stay off my PC you know. I love getting the boys educational toys and clothes for Christmas.
Our son, who just turned two, is a getting the radio flyer my first scooter. At Wal Mart it is totally cheaper. He loves it in the store! Black and Decker tool bench, an art easal, train set, among a few other things.
a few things we've gotten my 3 year old...his train table, he loves it! And this year for Christmas I'm buying some more trains to go with it. He also has a ride on Thomas the Train and a tool set. I honestly wouldn't get the tool set--the peices get lost and my little boy didn't play with it much. Also puzzels. I love the ones by Melssia and Doug. They have some at Kid to Kid that are reasonably priced and amazon has them too.
I think my son (who turned 2 in May) will be getting a pretend tool set. Also, he is getting into hot wheels cars, so we got one of those semi trucks with the cars inside. I also saw a Little people racing track set that looks interesting, but I am sort of a little people-aholic!!! And, he may even get a big wheel or scooter of some sort. I have seen the radio flyer ones with the 2 wheels in front, and one wheel in the back, and I really like that design, so we may do that. Cant wait to see your responses, as we are trying to decide too! ~A.~
IT'll be a Big Wheels trike for our 2yo this year! My In-Laws got him a super fancy one for his birthday in Sept. but it's so heavy and too difficult for him, so we're going with the cheap classics this time!...And big boy underware with trucks on them for motivation to sit on the potty
My son turned 3 last December. His favorite gifts were the tools. Santa brought the Black and Decker tool bench and he got lots of the Home Depot / Black and Decker tool sets. Those are his absolute favorites! They have all kinds of tools that look exactly like Daddy has. He also loved the Shake and Go Crash Em Ups race track my mom got him. He also loved the scooter my mother-in-law got him.
Mine is all about trains and he got the train table last year which he still plays with for hours each day and so I found a battery operated train that he can ride on a small track (made by Peg Perego), kind of pricey $(130) but its his big Santa gift. Also doing his first small ($20) Hot Wheels track to play with Daddy.
My son won't be 2 until March, but he's getting a Black & Decker tool bench with sounds and motion from Santa. He loves tools!
My son turns 3 in December so we have to find Christmas and B-day ideas. I am thinking about a play kitchen and a keyboard. I know a kitchen seems kind of girly, but he seems to like them when we play at his girl friends' homes - even if he uses the oven as a garage for his cars, I think he'd still enjoy it :) A basic keyboard is a good idea too. This is a great age to start an appreciation for music. Other than that, does he have a train set yet? That is my son's all time favorite toy. Our train set is always a hit with his fellow boys.
We've got a little keyboard with a stool, we will be buying a tool set because he loves to help my husband hammer nails to hang pictures, and unscrew the screws to change the air vent. I'll definately encourage his assistance with the honey-do lists! :) And I'm currently looking around trying to make sense of all the train stuff. He's all about trains right now. (My son also loves the kitchens and cottages; I don't think it's girly, it's just pretend play and all kids like it. They're just a little pricey for our taste though...)
DS who turned 3 in September is getting the Fisher Price Smart Cycle and a GeoTrax train set and of course matchbox cars...that's it except for little stuff. HTH
