I was wondering if any one has found a good diaper for nightime! I need one that really absorbs. mM son is 7 months old and wakes up some nightS becasue his diaper is so loaded! Thanks for the help.
There are many different diaper brands in the market, some parent prefer one brand over the other, you have to try it out and see which brand fit your child's need better. Check out the article for other moms' opinions.
So What Happened?
Thanks so much ladies, I am off to target to try Huggies overnights and some diaper doubles!

My girls never went to bed without a diaper doubler. Like the other ladies, I bought them at Publix. a package of 30 is $2.99. I would also use them any time that we traved. It is like a maxi pad for the diaper. I always give them as baby shower gifts. Good luck

We use Huggies Overnights or use a diaper doubler and a regualr diaper. The only place I've seen the diaper doublers is Publix but they're really cheap for a pack of 30.

For night time wear, I always use a diaper that is one size larger than the diaper she wears during the day. The larger size just absorbs better.

Pampers have worked best for us at nighttime, but we still have leaks sometimes.

Publix and baby r us sell diaper doublers. They help to absorb some of the urine and keep it from over flowing and leaking. I couln't get to publix the other day so i grabbed some maxi pads (overnite) from the store and they are helping. It is allowing my little one not to feel so wet and not leak at night. The nice part about the maxi is that it doesn't slide. good luck.

To young at this time, but remember for later that Good Nights work better for my 2 boys than Pull Ups at night time when they were potty training. My boys would blow up the Pull Ups at night.

Huggies Overnights in the next size up and Diaper Doublers worked for my little one. Diaper Doublers can be found at Babies R Us and Publix. Babies R Us is the only place I've been able to find the overnights in bigger sizes. Good luck!

I too would suggest cloth diapering at night. You could go with a hemp or sherpa fitted diaper. They do need a cover and you select the type of insert you want. For night time use, fleece and wool covers are wonderful, as they allow baby's skin to breathe all night. You can check these products out on my website at www.balterbaby.com. I am located in Douglasville, GA.
Luvs is about the best diaper for all night. They are great about not leaking. They also have good nights diapers but they are so big that they do leak with my sons. Try luvs hope this helps.

I've also had good experiences with the Huggies Overnights with my son and daughter. They're more expensive than regular diapers, but I think the cost is worth not changing baby and crib because of leaks. I do often find huggies coupons in the paper. I get the diapers at Babies R Us, Publix, Kroger, and Target. I wouldn't go up a size in diapers if your son won't be in the recommeded weight range. Bigger diapers leak because they aren't snug enough.

The Huggies overnight diapers worked best for us. If they are still too full, you may need to move up a size for the night diaper. We had to do that.

I always like Huggies overnights- also in thegrocery store you can find these things called diaper doubles and they bascially look like big pads- you put inside the diaper- it really helped absorb a lot more...
good luck

I use the Pampers Cruisers. It's the only thing I found to work at night. Even though my daughter's in pull-ups now during the day, I still use the Cruisers at night. Going one size bigger helps, too.

Hi, I also suggest checking the baby's diaper before you go to bed. I used Luvs because they didn't leave rashes and they hold alot. You may also want to put a larger size on your baby at night. Pampers and Huggies always leaked for us and they were more expensive as well. Luvs is cheaper and holds more liquid. Sometimes my son would look like he sat in a pool with a diaper on. That's how full his become but they didn't leak. I didn't go with the cheaper diapers like white cloud or other store brands, they fall apart quickly. Good luck!

Our favorite thing is Diaper Doublers. They are essentially like an incontinence pad, but fit inside your regular diapers. I found them at Publix and 30 doublers cost around $3. Alot less expensive than buying special diapers for nightime.

Huggies has an Overnight diaper that is wonderful. I went through the same thing with my son at 6 months, but they only sell them at Toys R Us and some WalMarts or grocery stores. It comes in a purple packaging and I believe they're called Huggies Nighttime

I too recommend Luvs for boys. I received several types of diapers as shower gifts and tried every brand. Luvs is the only brand that didn't leak. They hold a ton of urine (my son already sleeps 8-10 hours at night and his PJs are never wet in the morning! Also, as an added bonus, Luvs are much less expensive than Pampers and Huggies.
Good Luck!

With my kids when their diapers started leaking , that was my que to go up a diaper size.
We used pampers and huggies. and alternated. Huggies are wider where pampers are taller.

When my son was wearing diapers I had to use Pampers for him. Huggies and all other brands would leak on him I don't know why, but he had to use Pampers. My daughter on the other hand could wear the cheapest of the cheap. I guess
different body make-up and not as much output. Who knows? All I know is that we had to use the Pampers for my son at all times. Good luck!

I agree with Christina, Pampers Cruisers worked for us. My son was leaking every night. I finally figured out that it was because he would scoot in the crib in his sleep and his diaper would slip down in the front. The cruisers were made to remedy this. Once we switched we had no more leaks. Good Luck!

I have good luck with Pampers baby dry, Iv tried over night diapers and they leaked worse. I think mostly you just have to find one that will work best for your baby b/c different body shapes ect, b/c what works for 1 baby doesnt seem to work for the next. Good luck!

I use Pampers...any of them will do, but the Cruisers I think are a little more absorbent. I haven't had any trouble with them leaking unless it was time for them to move to the next size up. Good luck.

I second Hemp, Hemp diaps are great for absorbency. Also, If you use a fleece liner on top of the cloth diaper it tends to keep the baby feeling dryer against their skin.

My daughter was wearing the Pampers Baby Dry at night, and around 9 months she started overfilling the diapers. She would wake up to soaking pajamas every morning. We switched to Huggies Overnights at night time and have very rarely had a leak with them. We also always kept her in a size up in her night time diapers from her daily diapers. So if she wore a 4 during the day, we put her in a 5 at night. This helps too - bigger diapers absorb more. Good luck!

When my son started leaking bad at night, it was time to go up a size. Experiment though with brands cause different brands fit different. My son wears size 5 in Pampers, Luvs, and Parents Choice but can wear a 4 in Huggies and White Cloud!

Snap-ez.com is a cloth diaper company. They're insert diapers have nighttime double soakers, hemp I believe. We use the regular hemp night one for my 4 yr old at night. It is wonderful! No leaks! Check it out;)
