we only travel with jet blue. They are amazing with their prices, customer service and no baggage fees. We fly about 2 times a year
We are trying to find out which airlines don't charge fees to take baggage...with a big family and lots of luggage..this can add up.
Thanks

Southwest does not charge baggage fees. They don't fly everywhere, but if they go where you want to go, they are a great airline to fly.
I'm not aware of any. Consider shipping your luggage with UPS or FedEx instead. Less of a chance of getting lost, no drama with security and you know it'll get there on time. Depending on the airline and the weight of your bags, it can be considerably cheaper. In fact, United is actually recommending this now.
I only fly Southwest. They're an excellent company and they don't charge extra for baggage. Sure, they don't have first class, or some of the "extras" but they have ALWAYS honored my frequent flier miles and have even changed my ticket to earlier or later flights without charging me for it.
I'd check to see if they fly to where you're going.
Southwest, while my very least favorite airline to fly, I think is the only one who does not charge, up to 2 bags like the other poster said.
We travel a lot, and we too have shipped our bags ahead of time. It really is easy and probably not any more expensive than what certain airlines will charge.
Southwest is who we use too. Not the most roomy and luxurious ride, but much less expensive than any other airline (I check every time just in case) and no bag fees, and when I have had to change my ticket (the day of the flight) they did it with no fees. My mom has had to cancel tickets and they gave her a voucher for the full amount she paid to be used in the future on whatever flight she wants.
Southwest is fantastic. You can have 2 bags free IF they are within the weight limits.
We call Southwest our company plane because one of us is flying every week. It is super easy with Southwest. We fly a lot with American and don't pay fees but that's only because hubby is a platinum member there.
Another option: depending on where you are going. Ship things to your destination. A couple years ago, I shipped boogie boards and a couple of air mattresses to Sandestin and they were waiting on us when we got to the hotel.
FedEx ground is a great way to ship. We do a lot of shipping and use them all the time.
The only one I know is Southwest. You can have 2 checked bags for free. Weight limits apply. Check out southwest.com for more info.
