Weird Celebrity Crushes

I have a thing for Nicholas Cage. People seem to either love him or hate him, but I'm defnitely in the "love him" category (even though I know he's at least a little bit nuts)!

I don't think a crush on Paul Rudd is 'weird'! He's adorable! I kind of have a thing for Jon Stewart. Love the funny. Love the smart. Very sexy.

Tom Selleck. It's weird to me because he is much older than I am and he's hairy. I've always preferred a hairless chest. Oh, and because he was always my mother's crush! Tee, hee!

Anthony Bourdain. He's such a bad a**. I think it's the rebel part of him that makes him attractive to me.

Viggo Mortenson, and William Hurt.

My wierd celebrity crush is George Stephanopolis. He's short and nerdy and a brilliant political mind. I was so annoyed that he married an empty headed blond starlet with no interest in politics.

My LONG time crush has been Rick Springfield but that's SO obvious.

People laugh when I say Stephen Colbert is really hot. He REALLY IS! I LOVE funny but I find his skin amazing.

Robert Carlyle, Steve Buscemi, Gordon Ramsay....

No one mentioned Eric Skarsgaard. And I also find the guy that plays the nerd on Criminal Minds so freakin' adorable!

LOVE Paul Rudd - he is soooo cute!!! When I was younger I had a thing for Raul Julia, the dad from the Addams Family Movies!! Weird but there was something about him. RIP RAUL :-(

I've always loved actors and actresses that seem to be able to laugh at themselves and just be human. David Tennant is my most recent. He's just really talented and seems like a real person. I loved the cast in Mama Mia!. The end where they're in the disco wear, it's just so great.

I swore I would never get into questions like this one. And here I am!

This will be lost on anyone who does not watch the British TV series "Doctor Who" (which I've watched since I was a kid, when the monsters had zippers up their backs). But I pine for the Tenth Doctor, David Tennant. Too skinny, beaky nose, all teeth and eyes. And fantastic. (Eleventh Doctor fans, sorry, but I'm not over Ten!)

Rae: Do you secretly live at my house? Bill Nighy, Alan Rickman and Hugh Laurie are all minor gods here -- with my English husband as much as with me. It's not a crush thing but more adoration of the actors. We don't watch "House" but if you have never seen the early 1990s "Jeeves and Wooster" British TV series, get it from Netflix. A totally different Hugh Laurie, very goofy, and not sexy at all, but so gifted. Try to find "A Bit of Fry and Laurie" if you like British comedy, too. We also just rented "Wild Target" with Bill Nighy -- not a stellar film but amusing and lots of Nighy at his best.

Christine: Stephen Colbert IS hot. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise. You have made my day because I no longer think I am the only woman besides his wife who finds Colbert most appealing. I found out that he and I were in the same graduating class at Northwestern. Four years when I could have been dating Stephen Colbert and I never even met him there....But I've seen photos, and he had long hair and a beard, so I would have had no idea of his later short-hair, expensive-suit look....

1- Justin Theroux, like his character Seamus in Charlies Angels Full Throttle... I guess that's not weird... just look at him without a shirt. Yummy.

2- This one I guess is weird since I'm only 27 and this guy could be my father... HUGH LAURIE, like Dr. House. Ooooh yeah!

I adore Ira Glass from This American Life, and I think the dad in the Subaru commercial who is giving keys to his daughter/little girl is the hottest dad ever. I rewind that commercial each and every time :)

Oh my gosh, when I read the title of the post I immediatley thought of Johnny Galecki! Absolutely love him! And I agree, I think a lot of it is because I love his character so much.

My other weird celeb crush is Craig Ferguson. He is so funny, and his accent is adorable!

Right now, it's Ian Sommerhalder from Vampire Diaries (my secret addiction). I thought he was gorgeous on Lost, and now he's even hotter.

I usually don't have specific celebrity crushes, but I DO fall in love a little bit with specific characters. Lloyd Dobbler (John Cusack's character in Say Anything) for example. Or John Bender (Judd Nelson in Breakfast Club). I can think of quite a few characters that I had *crushes* on over the years...

For me it's J. Aniston, for the wife it's Johnny Depp. Doesn't sound weird to me, lol.

Steve Martin before the weird eye job. Right now, Henry Garza with Los Lonely Boys and all that gorgeous long dark hair. Whew!

My regular celebrity crush has Always been Brad Pitt!

My current "celebrity" crush is the guy from Ancient Aliens Giorgio Tsoukalos! He's very nerdy and has a bad tan, but I still think he is so cute! He gets a bit "out there" with the Ancient Alien Theory, but it's fun to see how excited and convinced he is. He also kind of resembles my hubby (except that hubby has much tamer hair)! :)

OK, I scanned everyones response and I think I have them beat..CARROT TOP!!! Hello! I think he's so sexy! But much more so BEFORE he had the funky facelifts or whatever the hell he had done. Back in the day he was so yummy! I don't know, but I know he does fall under "weird" for sure. =)

Peter MacNicol from Ally McBeal/Numbers/Grey's Anatomy. He always plays these shy, socially awkward characters, and he's just too darn cute.

Geoffrey Rush, Bill Nighy, Alan Rickman, Hugh Laurie..They all have this shy/sarcastic humor to them all. I love it!

Still, Johnny Depp has to be the classic celebrity crush for me. Although, I don't think it's a weird crush..:)
