Where in Arizona? Arizona has mountains that get snow.

So it all depends upon where you are going.

You're going to need to be more specific than that, desert or mountains? My son is in Flagstaff and they get snow off and on through the end of February. My nephew is in Phoenix and the weather is pretty mild during the winter. There's a BIG difference depending on the elevation you are traveling to! I suggest you google the name of the city and "average temperature" for the dates you're going.

We were just there at Christmastime (Grand Canyon South Rim, to Sedona, to Scottsdale area).

It was freezing to us, but we are from southern California. Grand Canyon area had snow and we were bundled up in jackets and scarves and mittens. But maybe a person from Kansas City would have been rocking shorts and sandles, I dunno!

Sedona was also quite chilly, requiring jackets and you would not really want to hang outside at night.

Scottsdale, more pleasant, Kids went in the heated pool at the resort. But it was also too cold at night to be standing around.

I did not bring shorts/Tshirt at all- jeans sweaters and jackets.
