Wants Another Baby

Hi, I'm 29 years old with a 2 year old son, that turns 3 in July. I would also like another baby too. There is no wrong or right time to have a baby. It's what you feel comfortable with. I know that we are going to start trying again at the end of this year. I feel like my son is old enough now, and out of diapers, etc.... that he is at an appropriate age to start trying. I think it would've been too hard for me to have two in diapers at the same time, so that is also why I waited. I think it's whatever is best for you at the time. If you're ready, then go for it!!! I had my son when my daughter was 2 years 2 months old. They are 6 and almost 4 now. They are best friends....most days. I think it was a good time to have him. We got her mostly potty trained before having him. Of course, she regressed when he was born and then again when he moved from the basinette to her old crib (she hadn't been in it for at least 8 months at that point)but she was involved all the way, went to Ultrasound appointments, felt when he kicked, helped pick out clothes. When we came home she was allowed to hold him and lay in the crib with him and feed him. It really helped alot.

My son was 2 when I had my daughter, they are about 15 months apart. I love it... It was rough at first (my husband and I both work full time) but once my daughter started crawling and being able to hold her own, it was smooth sailing. My son also really enjoys helping her and they play together. If you can finacially aford another baby right now, I'd go for it! then they'll be close in age and you will have it all done with around the same time.
