I too have tried to sell Mary Kay. It was way too hard because there are sooooo many women already signed up to sell and it has been around forever.
I just came across a new company called Qivana. I'm so excited to have found this. It is a total core health system. There is only one thing that you would be selling (packaged deal) instead of hundreds of products.

It also provides great information on training and has recorded conference calls where you can hear from the top leaders and management team who put this all together.

Just be careful of all the MLM's and get rich at home things being advertised out there. Anytime you pay someone else money to work for them......you are not going to get ahead.

The daycare idea is a good one. There is a mom on this site with a kid shuttle business that would work nicely for moms as well.

I had to make major life style changes to stay at home with my daughter, but have been able to make it work without a job at home. We went from two cars to one, saved big on car payments, insurance and gas. We eat at home a lot more, and I have become the coupon queen =)
